Clients.

The following list features some of the clients we’ve worked with in recent years in a book promotion capacity. The logos demonstrate some of the publications we’ve helped get them into.

LITERARY ARTISTS

Author/Filmmaker Bill Carter.

We worked with Schaffner Press and the author, filmmaker and lecturer Bill Carter to promote his critically acclaimed books, award-winning film, and positive and uplifting messages - using a blend of traditional book promotional methods mixed with social media technologies including Twitter, Facebook and Goodreads.

We’ve worked with journalists to introduce content for the following newspapers:

Author Todd Grimson.

We worked with Schaffner Press to promote the literary fiction of author Todd Grimson, whose cult-paranormal/urban fantasy and horror-noir classic “Brand New Cherry Flavor” was released October 1st of 2011 and has received great reviews.  His follow up “Stainless” earned him the right to be called “The greatest horror writer you’ve never read” by The Guardian.  His latest release is titled “Stabs At Happiness.”

Media interest has been flooding in through our new social media enhanced website, and we continue to update his Twitter, Facebook and Goodreads social media pages.

LITERARY FESTIVALS.

We donated our book promotional expertise to the 15th Annual FisherPoets Gathering in Astoria, Oregon in 2012.  If you haven’t been, FisherPoets is one of the most fun and interesting literary gatherings in one of my favorite NW towns.  The event features poetry, music and readings from commercial fishermen from Alaska to Florida.  For more information, check out their website and follow them on Twitter, like them on Facebook.

PERFORMING ARTISTS.

Nanda.

In 2011 we worked with the performing arts group Nanda.  Their production entitled “The Jacket” hit Seattle to fanfare and rave reviews.  We worked to develop copy for their website, press releases and helped journalists in Seattle to craft content for ‘Fall Arts Previews’ within two magazines and Seattle’s biggest newspaper.

                ———- FORMER CLIENTS ———-

Rick Emerson.

What does the zombie apocalypse have to do with your own personal finances?

Rick Emerson will tell you, in the entertaining – yet compelling and practical– book titled “Zombie Economics” that he co-authored with CNN’s Lisa Desjardins.

USA TodayCNBC, CNN, Forbes.com, and myriad other media outlets have discussed the Zombie Economics approach to teaching personal finance: the use of the zombie apocalypse as a teaching metaphor. As the book’s cover says, pulling no punches: “Every skill needed to survive an economic downturn mirrors a skill needed to survive the zombie apocalypse.” Zombie Economics is a stripped-down, no-nonsense approach to monetary survival.

Sample Chapters:

WITH FRIENDS LIKE THESE, WHO NEEDS ZOMBIES: Avoiding scams, hucksters, and other financial predators

THEY’LL EAT THE FAT ONES FIRST: fitness as a financial asset

THERE IS NO CURE: Save yourself from future threats

From the creeping spread of unpaid bills to the lumbering advance of creditors, the convoluted language found in most financial presentations is stripped away, and what remains is a clear, step-by-step guide to financial survival.

Zombie Economics. n. 1. The theory that every skill needed to survive an economic downturn mirrors a skill needed to survive the zombie apocalypse.  2.  A stripped-down, no-nonsense approach to financial survival.
